Janine and Bryan’s Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Garden Wedding

January 16, 2012

Janine and Bryan met while Bryan was playing at a gig at Vancouver’s Ironworks Gallery in Gastown. While they didn’t get together right away, sparks flew later. It all culminated with their wedding at the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden in Vancouver. Janine and Bryan are even more beautiful on the inside than they are on the outside. They are a bright and talented couple; Janine is a doctor and Bryan is an excellent saxophonist and composer… but it their wonderful caring hearts that struck me the most when we first met a couple of years ago. I took some of their engagement session images and designed them into a beautiful printed fine art guest signing book that was passed around at the reception. I’ll try to post some of those photos later. :-) Janine is originally from Trinidad and her Aunties made yummy rumcake for the favours. Bryan’s band, the Sweet Pea Swing Band (without Bryan, that is) played throughout the reception at the Ironworks Gallery. I feel blessed to know them and to have been able to record the warmth of the wedding and reception with their family and friends. Congratulations and big hugs, Bryan and Janine!
